Sovereignty

"What do you understand by sovereignty?" was the question I was asked at my Sussex University interview. I mumbled some answer about the Queen, and he managed to hide his smile.

Many years later I now know exactly what 'sovereignty' means, and what it doesn't mean. I claim my own sovereignty, and do not intend for it to be taken away from me by opaque global bodies.
