There is no conspiracy here, right? It's all just chaos theory, accidental largesse, old-boys' club, etc, etc.
For me, I call a spade a spade, and don't have much time for people in 'deep denial', or 'terminally naive' as John Pilger puts it. Here is some not-too-surprising news:
